Soft laser therapy shortens the healing time of traumatic and sports injuries!

Applied before surgery, it accelerates the absorption of hematomas and edemas, making the surgical area more accessible and reducing pain.
After surgery, use the laser 1-2 times daily for faster healing.

In cases of bone fractures, a “small window” is usually cut into the cast limb, allowing direct laser illumination to intensively aid bone formation processes.

In cases of skin abrasions, scratches, and post-operative wounds, it promotes the regeneration of normal tissues and also aids the healing of difficult-to-heal wounds and ulcers.

Surface skin and mucous membrane diseases (e.g., herpes, oral wounds, aphthous ulcers) and gum recession can be treated with the help of the accessory fiber optic.

The Safe Laser 1800 Infra laser should be placed in contact with the painful or injured area and illuminated for the specified time, then moved to the next point. (Disposable protective covers for the treatment head are available for order)
Multiple points can be treated consecutively, depending on the size of the painful, injured surface. Generally, “pressure-sensitive” points should be treated.

For maximum safety, only switch on the laser after placing it on the skin surface to avoid accidental viewing of the laser light! At the end of the treatment, switch it off before removing the device from the skin surface!

Deeper layers to be treated, beyond 10 cm, can be reached more effectively if the treatment head of the Safe Laser 1800 Infra is pressed slightly into the tissues. If, for example, due to an open wound, the laser cannot be placed directly on the skin surface, it should be held as close as possible (max. 0.5 cm). In this case, however, the treatment time per point must be extended by 1 minute to ensure that the appropriate amount of energy required for healing enters the body!

The frequency of treatments depends on the duration of the illness. (How long ago did the problem arise?)

1. Treatment of acute diseases (recently developed) and post-operative cases:
The treatment should be applied daily for 1-2 weeks, then 3 times a week until symptoms disappear. Improvement can be observed during the first treatment or within 1 day!
(In acute diseases, treatment can be performed for as long as improvement is observed during the first session.)

2. Treatment of chronic (prolonged) diseases (developed more than 6-8 weeks ago):
Long-standing diseases should be treated less frequently. Use the laser device 3 times a week until symptoms disappear or significantly decrease.

Naturally, healing for chronic (long-standing) diseases takes longer (days, weeks, or even months).
After the first treatments, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, or in painful conditions, the pain may intensify (treatment reaction), but this is a temporary phenomenon. The intensity of the pain gradually decreases with the number of treatments and disappears after 3-4 sessions, followed by improvement. The treatment reaction is a normal accompanying phenomenon, indicating that the patient is responding to the therapy. If pain increases after treatment, halve the treatment time and frequency. After 3-4 treatments, you can return to the original treatment method.

If we find that, for example, a painful joint neither improves nor “worsens,” it is likely that we have treated with too small a dose (too short irradiation time). In this case, we can increase the treatment time by approximately 2-3 minutes.

If, as a result of regular treatments, the pain possibly intensifies and becomes more prolonged, this indicates that we have treated with too large a dose. Overtreatment does not cause permanent damage. In such a case, skip a few treatments and continue therapy with a smaller dose (fewer sessions or shorter treatment time).

One cause of accompanying pain is the sudden onset of microcirculation (blood flow in the smallest vessels) in stagnant areas. Waste products accumulated in stagnant areas (which were not transported away) suddenly enter the bloodstream, which can rarely lead to nausea, fatigue, and general malaise (after treating large areas with high doses).

If the pain does not decrease within a few weeks even with an increased dose, it is likely that the pain is merely radiating to this area, and the underlying cause is elsewhere. “Trigger point therapy” deals with finding the true cause of pain.

More frequent or longer treatments do not necessarily accelerate healing, as there is a biological limit beyond which cells cannot be further stimulated by irradiation!

For muscles: We thoroughly palpate the muscles and treat the “pressure-sensitive” points.

For joints: We generally treat along the joint line.

Joints can be “opened” by bending the limbs, allowing light to reach inside the joint. We also palpate the muscles that move the joint and treat their sensitive points.

For tendons: We treat at the tendon attachment, at the muscle-tendon junction, and at “pressure-sensitive” points.

Even if you do not precisely hit the treatment points, the therapy can still be effective because the Safe Laser Infra light is scattered over a large area.
